For a little while now I have been looking for some clothing to complement our jewellery and gift range. My wish list was colourful, happy, comfortable and affordable.
I found exactly what I was looking for the moment I set eyes on Ruby Yaya – and it is now in store in time for Summer.
Designed by Brisbane-based Melissa Anderson, a mother of five (yes, 5 children!!), her brand has been spotted across the globe, including on Aussie actress Naomi Watts. This talented designer is focused on creating a collection of “vibrant, easy care pieces for your next adventure which will capture your artisan spirit”.
The designs I’ve selected for our store are ideal for the Newcastle lifestyle, going from café to work, to the beach at the end of the day. Our customers based in the country will also enjoy Ruby Yaya’s laid-back summery style.
Like their designer, Ruby Yaya’s clothes are perfect for Seraph’s stylish customers: busy women seeking that confident but relaxed look that they can just throw on in the morning and still look great in the evening, no matter where their day (or travels) take them.
In a world filled with beige, Ruby Yaya is the perfect antidote.
The range is made from fine Indian cottons and lace, featuring vibrant colours, vivid prints and hand-embroidered embellishments. These flowing and feminine garments will look exquisite paired with our jewellery and accessories like Afribeads and our custom-made pieces. Willow & Zac’s colourful handbags will also accent the range beautifully, especially those in watermelon, turquoise or the new-season white.
For those of you who pop in to Seraph on a regular basis, you will be well aware of my devotion to colour. I love these clothes so don’t be surprised to see me indulging in my favourite Ruby Yaya tops and dresses all summer long!
